The goal of this survey is to understand how many agricultural operations in the U.S. welcome visitors for direct sales and experiences, including pick-your-own, farm stands, tours, overnight farm stays, recreation, etc. This information will be used to inform future programs and support.

This research study is led by Dr. Lisa Chase, Extension Professor at the University of Vermont and Director of the Vermont Tourism Research Center. Survey about Farmer Stress

Cultivemos is a Cooperative Extension Regional Cohort and in the Northeast Region we are working diligently to help alleviate stress and burnout in the agricultural industry. To best understand what materials and resources would be most beneficial for industry members we are conducting a survey.

There are not currently a lot of resources in this space in New Jersey, so it is important that NJ is represented in this survey, please take a minute to complete it. 2023 Spotted Lanternfly Tracking Survey

Rutgers NJAES Wine Grape Extension, in association with Penn State Extension Grape and Wine Team, is calling on those who own, operate, or manage a farm or vineyard in the New Jersey region to participate in a survey that aims to track the spread and severity of nymph and adult spotted lanternfly populations during the 2023 season. The data collected will provide insights into the distribution patterns of both nymph and adult SLF within and outside vineyards, enabling growers and researchers to better understand this invasive pest’s potential impact on agriculture in the Mid-Atlantic region. NJ BPU Asking for Participation in Broadband Access Study Commission Survey

THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS FROM THE NJ DEPT OF AGRICULTURE ON BEHALF OF NJ SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE DOUGLAS FISHER

The New Jersey Bureau of Public Utilities (BPU), in accordance with the New Jersey Broadband Access Study Commission – established by the state of New Jersey Legislature this past March, has engaged ECC Technologies, Inc., to complete a comprehensive broadband focused project in New Jersey. Among other things, the project addresses broadband infrastructure and service, and includes a survey to identify broadband availability.

We especially encourage state agricultural producers to participate in this project.
